Maths

We were doing the divisibility of 3 today here is an example and then I will give you some instructions on how to do it. The number 102 is divisible by 3 because 1+2=3 and the zero doesn't do anything so that is how things are divisible by 3. Here are the instructions.

1. You have to make sure that the number is even.

2. Now add all the numbers together.

3. Do you think that the number is divisible by three?

Here are some of the numbers that are divisible by 3.

102,120, 222, 522, 252, 330

Consider all three-digit numbers formed by using different digits from 0, 1, 2, 3 and 5.

How many of these numbers are divisible by 6?

Star test

We did a year 5/6 star test. I the star test I got 43 out of 50 the thing that I need to work the most on is two things. My first one is Word Recognition I got 2 wrong for that, the other one is Vocabulary I got another 2 wrong on that. There is another thing but I don't think I need to work on is Paragraph Comprehension because I got 3 wrong but it was out of 20. I also did another star test it was a year 7/8 star test but I haven't had the results from that yet. And that is what I got for my star test!

Student Teachers

Today we met up with a student teacher to show them our learning. Me and Emma talked to a student teacher called Linda. We showed her our writing sample first. Then we gave her an example of, active listening, me too listening and busy listening because she was wondering what types of listening there were. We also gave her a talk about what we did at camp and about all the activities we did. We gave her a brief talk about our one word goal this is what we said: So we made a goal from one word so as an example, my one word was confident I chose that word because I am really shy most of the time unless I am with really farmiliar people and there is heaps of other reasons as well but I don't want to make you bored. Here are two photos of me, Emma and Linda.
